This week has been pretty great! So we decided that after Zone conference we were going to talk to everyone and this is probably the best story that happened while talking to people. So we were at walmart ( the chosen place of the missionaries) and we walked up to this lady and asked if she's ever seen missionaries before- she said no. That's not the good part of the story but she had to be put in there so we could talk about dodging Dan. Yes dodging Dan let me tell you about dodging Dan. So he was walking out of an aisle while we had the awkward encounter with the lady talked about above so we walked around the corner and dodging Dan saw our name tags and literally walked backwards into the aisle he came from and then peeked around the corner to make sure we were gone.. Haha watch out the Mormons are out!!
Also we biked this week because our car was in the shop and while riding home one night a lightening bug flew into my mouth and i swallowed him. After having a moment of silence for this long lost bug I checked to see if he was making me glow .. He didn't. Sad day.
I also went on an exchange and it was one of those moments when you realize that what you are saying at that moment is what they need to hear and that no one else would have been able to connect with them the way you did.

Hey Y'all! This week has been pretty good i spent the first little bit of the week saying good bye to people in the Sparkman ward and then the last part of the week meeting new people. This ward is really nice and it just got put together with a branch so everyone is meeting each other and trying to figure out who is who so it's nice. I don't feel like i am the only one that doesn't know who is who :)
My companion is Sister Houston she goes home in 2 transfers but she's really fun to work with! She's super bold! So she's teaching me that. She's from Utah were all missionaries are from and she goes to BYU and she wants to be a vet. :)
I got to meet our new invetigators- well my new investigators. Jesse is going to be baptized on may 28 and he's so excited about that! We were able to get 6 new investigators when I got here, so this area is super golden! I'm really liking it! The last cold front just passed so pray that I wont die because of the heat!! Because I am going to need it! I almost died last year and they said that was a mild summer so this shall be fun! it's crazy to me that it's almost june again! it feels like just yesterday it was the end of the summer! CRAZY!!

Hello it was so fun to be able to skpye with y'all or talk on the phone! I love hearing your little voices!
So this week Denise got baptized and it was a long journey but she's so happy now! A lot of her friends have given her anti or have said things about the church that they were hoping would change her mind but they didn't! She got baptized on Saturday and then confirmed right after because the person she wanted to confirm her couldn't be there on Sunday so she got permission. After she got baptized we went to DQ and we got a call from our president and he asked where we were so he came to DQ and Denise said " Hi i'm Denise.. I'm A mormon" and gave the biggest grin it was so cute! President was a little taken back and started to laugh and said that he was a mormon too and so were we. She also gave her first Book Of Mormon out already. She gave it to one of her friends and said that if he wanted to she would read with him.
I gave a talk on Sunday and some of you have asked for a copy but.. I don't know where it went. Maybe it's like the gold plates and got taken up by the Lord. Probably not but i just talked about the Gospel Principles - Faith, repentance, baptism, Holy Ghost and endure to the end and i just shared some family stories about how my family taught me how to apply them in my life and how they aren't just for church but for everything. So yeah. :)

So this week was full of adventure! Between me almost falling into a font and thinking Sister Morgan had a fever of 106 it was a fun time! But don't worry sister morgan doesn't have a fever of a 106 i just can't hear these days. No biggie. So this week we learned that short people shouldn't fill up a font. We got asked to fill the font for a childhood record and while we were waiting for it to fill up we started talking to our assistant ward mission leader and before we know it the font is too full and too cold for this little girl to get into so i had the bright idea to pull on the plug for a little bit but while sister morgan was telling me not to pull it too much the whole plug came out so we needed to find a way to put the plug back in so i started fishing with the chain that is attached to the plug and while doing that I have to lean over the glass wall on my tiptoes so needless to say I almost took another shower that day. But thankfully we were able to get the plug back in and get the water warmer for that little girl.
We found a lot of great people we had a district meeting about being bold so that day we went out and started to be bold and we were able to teach some great people that want to learn more- SCORE!
We taught relief society this week and it went really well! We based it off the video that I sent to y'all last week the "Because of Him" Video it's such a blessing and a wonder to know that we have a Savior that loved us enough to come down and suffer everything he did so that we could come back to live with Heavenly Father. It sometimes blows my mind that people don't know about the Atonement and what it actually means to us and how it doesn't just make us clean but it makes us have the strength that we need to be able to make it through each day!

April 14, 2014Well folks it's that time of year where my hair hates me.. So it's up all the time now!
So we met the ward and y'all it's Utah size it freaked me out. For the last 9 months I have gotten used to maybe 30-80 people being at church but what happened yesterday? 275 people were at church!! Also did I mention we have church in the stake center? So needless to say it FREAKED ME OUT seeing that many people at church I was super happy to see all those people but man was it weird! We had fast and testimony meeting and it was really good most of the members talked about seeing the Lord's hand in our life and how we can better see the everyday little things he's doing for us. Everyone was super excited that they have sisters again everyone wants to feed us so needless to say i am going to have to be rolled off the plane someday. And every one wants to do team ups with us so we are working on finding people to be baptized.. Speaking of that DENISE HAS A BAPTISMAL DATE FOR THE 3RD OF MAY!!! So we are super excited about that we just need to find out where she will be getting baptized into. Since she lives in Fayetteville her records will be there so we might have to take a trip up to Fayetteville to go to church and have her baptized. We'll see. We have to talked to president about it tomorrow we have interviews so we are hoping to figure out what is happening there!
We were able to meet some wonderful people I have decided that praying with baptist people are the funniest because they yell or whisper "yes Jesus" while you are praying it's an adventure. haha gotta love it!!

This week has been a wonderful one! Sister Morgan and I have had some amazing moments. Please let me tell you about them. So since we got double transferred we need to find a lot of new people to teach and we went to walmart ( we drove the Capshaw sisters since they don't have a car) and while we were there we started talking to a worker. We gave her a Book Of Mormon and invited her to conference and she said that she knows the Lord sent us to her because she has been praying to know what way she should go.
We also has a Church tour with Denise and she's so great! We taught her the Plan Of Salvation and she LOVED it!! She just kept saying how it made her happy and it wasn't emotional black mail like all the other churches she was going to. We showed her the baptismal font and the chapel and she really liked both of them. She said she felt the Spirit while we were there. She also came to conference and she loved it as well. She's so great she wants us to send her scriptures all the time so she can get to know the Book Of Mormon better. She's been reading it and she's in 2 Nephi we are meeting with her on Wednesday and we are hoping that we can set a baptismal date for her!!
Conference was wonderful and I just kept thinking that it's all about how we need to be better disciples and how we need to be more steadfast! That is something that President Hanks talks a lot about.
So this week i have been studying in the Book Of Helaman and my poor little companion has to listen to me rant about how the Nephites are really starting to bother me. I even growled at them this morning not one of my finner moments but it's really teaching me that when we think we are doing ok is when Satan will try to come and really mess things but. He is the wreaking ball of faith and hope. But it's nice to know that We have a champion as our Savior and he will always be victorious. :)
So our new apartment is HUGE pretty sure it's bigger then all of my last apartments put together. We can have party in our bathroom. It's awesome y'all!
