Sickness Stinks!

January 13, 2014
So this week I have been sick and not a whole lot has happened but I was able to finish Matthew and Mark earlier this week so that was awesome! I Just love reading about when Christ teaches the people it makes me see what I need to work on for when I teach :)  I have realized how when you read about Christ the easier it is to see His hand in your life. It was so sweet, this zone is very different from the ones that I have worked in before and I felt a little ignored, but when people heard I was sick I got a million calls last night- first the district leader then the zone leaders and then the assistants. It just made me feel loved and I was able to talk to an elder who I worked with in Hoover. It was nice just to see that there are people that do love me and know I am there. When I was feeling a little down this week I thought about Elder Rogers in The Best Two Years and it helped pick me up and helped me remember why I'm here- a million memories come flooding through my mind. Helping people feel the spirit for the first time, helping them know how much Heavenly Father and Christ loves them, how families can be together forever and many others.

We went tracting for a little bit when I didn't feel as sick and this lady opened the door and we had a Book Of Mormon with us and she just started saying how we have a different book and it's wrong and that we are false prophets! Gotta love southern people! But really I do they are just too funny for words!! Here are some of my more serious pictures :) Love you!
